The Bible is the Word of God. It is inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. It is the written revelation of God to man, and gives us principles by which we should live, and by which God will judge us. It has God for its author, Salvation through Jesus for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter. Therefore it is to be read, believed, and practiced daily.
