Pastor Clay Mosley
Clay Mosley was called to Taylorville in the Fall of 2022 as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Education. He was voted in as Senior Pastor in August of 2023. Clay is married to his wonderful wife, Morgan, and they share three children, one boy and two girls. Clay and Morgan met in the mission field, in the heart of Oklahoma City. They ministered to underprivileged children in the inner city. Since being married, they have worked hand in hand in a variety of different ministries. Before moving to Tuscaloosa, Clay and Morgan worked for Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children as houseparents, where they took care of 8 boys. Clay has a bachelor’s degree in Theological and Biblical Studies from Liberty University, a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Liberty University, and is currently a student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is working on his Doctorate in Ministry in Applied Theology.
Since Clay’s life was changed by the glory of the Gospel, the Lord has set him apart and called him to the Gospel ministry of making disciples and winning souls to Christ.
Clay believes that Taylorville Baptist is called to be a light to a community that desperately needs the Gospel and his burden for souls drives his vision for the ministries of Taylorville Baptist Church.
