Kerie Evans
Kerie Evans moved to Tuscaloosa in June of 2013 from Lamar County, where she was born and raised. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, John, for 17 years; together they are raising four boys.
Before moving to Tuscaloosa, Kerie and John were both working in the nursing field. Growing up, Kerie always had compassion for others and prayed that God would use her for His Glory. It is her love for the Lord, for children, and their families that keep her grounded in her faith. She has a desire to minister not only to our community, but also around the world. She always enjoys doing Mission work in villages located in Brazil during the summer.
Kerie quickly settled into Taylorville before becoming a member in April of 2014 with a strong sense to serve in the children’s ministry. Kerie was called to Taylorville in March of 2020 as the Interim Children’s Director. In January of 2022 Kerie was voted in as the permanent Children’s Director. She enjoys sharing the gospel through family and community events such as Easter Extravaganza, Vacation Bible School, small groups, Fall Festival, Christmas plays, and MORE!
